Kilkenny Skatepark

This street style plaza has 2 levels and is designed for all ages and abilities. The mini ramp on the top section is easily accessed and can be used by skaters with disabilities. On this top level we have incorporated a bench which doubles as a grind ledge. The top level contains a grind rail, pole jam, a 5m kicker Gap and Nipple. From here users can hit the lower level using the ramps, ledges, steps or stairs rail. With the “London Gap” sited in the centre this offers a challenge to all users.
In the lower level we have created a larger area of just concrete slab for beginners and included a curb and some manual pads to practice ollies and various tricks. The lower level has a small Quarter Pipe and Wheelie Table and these can be used by skaters with limited abilities.
